Dear Costco...once again you came through the Smith's. Thanks to you, I've had trouble tearing myself away from this room. Before you tempted us with a couch on Sunday (that we did convince ourselves to purchase) our play/family room was like this:
And now it is like this. This new couch is super affordable, super soft, and you can hide super big toys behind it....like this!
And this little gem holds all of our TRAINS...and there are A LOT of them ;) .
I'm in love and I just had to share!

Father's Day
Happy Father's Day!
My Dad...the one that let us drive his truck down the gravel driveway, always had the band-aids when we scraped our knees, could figure out all of the math problems we couldn't solve, never missed one of our games, drove me to college and helped me find my way around that first semester my freshman year. He walked me down the aisle and was there the day both of my children were born...even after he had worked a 10-hour day and then had to drive 2-hours to get there. I absolutely have the best Daddy around.
My Father-in-law...he treats me like his own, is always our voice of reason, never lets us down, the one we call whenever we need help or can't figure things out. The one who worked his entire life even moving states away from all of his family to give his children a better life. He taught my husband to be the person he is today and I don't know what we would do without this man.
My husband....my world and the best father my boys could ask for. You've come a long way from suggesting "Just eat a few tums"...when my appendix was rupturing. Hehehe! I couldn't imagine living this life or raising these boys with anybody other than you. Thank you for being the amazing person you are for all of us....we love you more than...

Where We've Been
We've been off of the computer, out of the house and hanging around in our swimsuits most days. If I was speaking for Ryder, I'd say swimsuit. He has plenty to choose from, but only Mickey Mouse wins his heart. I wash it every single day.
This guy isn't as picky yet.
He is also fully walking and running now! Woohoo! He has hair under that hat, but its so fair we keep his head covered.
This little monster in the video, aka Ryder "Smiff" is learning to swim! Last summer we couldn't get him near a pool and this summer we can't keep him out of the pool.
After his lesson today, we swam with his cousins. I turned around and caught them holding hands to jump in...made my heart happy!
That's where we've been!

Meet the Neighbors
Some days I miss living right in the heart of my little town that had all of the amenities a girl could want. We had a swimming pool in the backyard and lived 2 short miles in any direction from Sonic, Target, Kroger, Lowes, Bed Bath & Beyond, Pier One, etc...
And then there are days like today that make me realize this is the best move we ever made.
After the boys finished playing in the sprinkler out back this morning, our newest neighbors hung their head over the fence...I love these little guys. They are so, so sweet!
The babies came too!
They snacked on some tree.
And then headed back home. Our own little Petting Zoo, except we don't have feed or clean-up after them :)
