Pinterest Party

Its R&R's birthday month!  Sometimes I can't remember life without these two and then other days its hard to believe 4 years has gone by so fast...it seems like yesterday that we brought Ryder home.  None the less, in just about a week we will have a 4 year old and a 2 year old.  We had a small party over the weekend to celebrate....most of the things on this table are courtesy of Pinterest.  Best place ever.  Really it is.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to two of the three best things in my life.  I love you both with all of my heart.  I can't imagine forging through a single day of this life without my husband by my side.  He is my strength, he makes me laugh, he fixes all things broken...even me on those occasional days. I truly am a lucky girl.

Rustin Walker..you're two today.  You're a feisty one.  You stand up for your brother.  You love your blanket.  You know every word to the Thomas Song and will sing it at the top of your lungs.  You love your Momma and I treasure it, because I know that I won't always be the only woman in your life.  Eggs are yummy to your tummy and you still drink all of your milk...even if it doesn't have strawberry syrup.  You're scared of monsters even though I promise you that there aren't any in your room.  You always repeat the "you promise" part.  You love books, trains, a good push in the swing, sonic slushes, the sandbox and all things Toy Story 3.  You have soft, white hair that stands straight up.   You like to say "No Mommy"...even if you don't know what you are saying "No" about.  You also say "My lap" and "Mommy Hold You"...my key you need some love.  You are my perfect little man and I am so thankful that God chose me to be your Momma. 

Happy Birthday Boys...may it be filled with sweet blessings and all of the love I can give!

Saturday Afternoon

Saturday afternoon is made for watching College Football, trying out your first PEZ Dispenser, and hoping you'll get lucky when a few pieces of candy hit the floor.

The little things...

It's the little things...like watching a train ride around the track...that makes him the happiest. Please ignore the half-dressed little in the background.  That seems to be a trend with him lately...it's either shirt on or shorts on...but never both at the same time.

Rustin's New Digs

Out with the crib and in with the Big Boy Bed.  A Bunk Bed to be exact!  R&R are super excited to have a bunk bed in the house.  It makes me a little nervous, so we're not putting the ladder on for now.  It was an easy solution for not having a "guest bedroom".  Ryder can just bunk with Rustin on the rare occasion we have a guest now.

It was bitter-sweet for this Momma.  My Baby is officially not a Baby anymore.  Its the first time in 4-years there has not been a baby crib in our house.  I wish I could bottle them up and keep them little forever, but I also love watching their personalities explode as they grow.  They are the Biggest Blessing.
