Bath Time is So Much Fun!!!

I look forward to Ryder's Bath every day. It is always at the end of the day and for as long as I can remember he has loved taking a bath. Even that very first bath his first weekend at home we were surprised that he didn't make the slightest peep of noise. Now, bath time is that time of day when I can put him in the tub where he incessantly splashes and entertains himself while I finally am able to sit down on the comforts of a closed lid toilet and relax. We have also had the same routine since he was probably 2 months old. After dinner we head up to the bathroom, I lay him on the bath mat and start running the water. The sound of that water always seemed to sooth him during the "colic era". While the water warms, I go to his room and grab PJ's and a diaper. I always return to a slightly more at ease baby lying in the exact position I left him...until this week. This week I found him standing up at the tub anxiously looking in at the filling water, leading me to the conclusion that he really must love bath time as much as I do! I won't be leaving him in there anymore...I honestly wouldn't put it past that little guy to climb on in as soon as he is able to figure that part out! It was terribly cute though! This is the face I got when I asked him what on earth he was doing...

I love that Tori has always loved the bath, too. The only thing she still has a hard time with is pouring water over her head to rinse it.
I love how you strategically placed the dots on his little bum. Too cute! He's a handsome kid!

Caleb loves tubby time too! He hasn't learned to climb in yet, but I went to get his towel the other night and when I returned he had dumped half a bottle of baby soap in the tub. He came out very clean.
