Fun, fun, fun day!

Legos

They build Lego sets together....building bonds as they work their way through all of the pieces.  They use super glue on the really small pieces...carefully working to make sure nothing comes loose.  May these moments be the super glue to your relationship.  Legos,  lots of glue and lots of love is what you have with your Daddy sweet Rustin.

Manicures

Ryder promised us he was just like a professional...he gobbed on blue polish and lots of glitter...then asked for my credit card so he could get paid.  Rustin really didn't want to be the customer but he has trouble telling his big brother "No" some days.  Thank goodness for acetone and lots of cotton swabs...I love you two more than manicures on Mother's Day and that is a lot of loving!

Mother's Day 2015

You both made me feel so loved today.  Rustin filled our first ever Mother's Day Piñata with lip balms  (an idea he presented to his Dad well more than a week before Mother's Day) and Ryder made my nails look gorgeous with polishes he personally selected from the Wal-Mart beauty aisle.

I couldn't be more happy than I am being your Mom.  You two are my everything and I love you more than you love Disneyland....and that my love monkeys is a lot of loving!

When you least expect it...

Ryder....you are at a hard stage in life.  You long to be grown yet you are still so young.  We give you space but every now and again you take it too far.  We reel you back in and then let you go again.  Sometimes we wonder if we're saying the right things and leading you down the right paths?  As your Mom, I pray a lot. I pray that God gives me the direction to do what is best for you and your brother.    I pray that you have kindness within, strength to persevere, desire and drive to accomplish bigger things and that everything you do is with Jesus in your heart.

Most days I question myself and then when I least expect it you show me that God is present and listening.  In your Daddy's sweatshirt and with wet hair from the rain you just danced in...you show me the goodness within.  I love you more than chocolate marshmallow cookies from Central Market and that sweet boy is a LOT of loving!

St. Patrick's Day

Rustin...you share my desire to make every single holiday special. I love you more than green pancakes and leprechaun cupcakes and I thank you for always flattering my need to celebrate.  I love you more than green milk and leprechaun cupcakes and that my sweet baby is a lot of loving!
