One Shoe

Mom,

When we take the long trek from the car, up the steps, through the long hallway and to my classroom on Monday....you might want to look down and make sure I am wearing both of my shoes before sending me off to paint and eat yummy snacks like these. Thanks- Ryder

I had a Mom of the Year moment today.  I sent Ryder to preschool in one shoe. To put the topper on the cake, my phone didn't ring when they called to tell me. I didn't realize he just had one shoe until I arrived at pick-up. Thankfully they had spare shoes in his size just laying around the church. Who would've known?  I felt embarassed, sad for Ryder (although I'm sure he didn't care), scattered....and now its kind of funny to me.  Just had to share.
